BLED

in Sloveia...


a beautiful place, the scenery is similar to Austria with some very impressive mountains. We met my Mum and Dad there and stopped with them for 4 nights. For the first couple of days we explored the areas around bled which were full of waterfalls and lakes with some lovely views. We found a 12m bridge that Luke decided to jump off. We had some really good food and even some Bled cake, Jayne and Steve enjoyed the local red wines, whilst I had some "vodka jus, please?".

On our last day we went down to Lake Bled with a Picnic and spent the day sunbathing, swimming in the lake (which was thermal so quite warm), row boating and tobogganing.

Overall we had a lovely few days with the parents and would love to go back to do one of the many extreme sport activities!!
