Italia

Italy. Well....Florence, Pisa and Genoa...

Florence was a nice little place, we had a fantastic view of the city from our campsite. It was full of stalls, statues and street proformers. However we did find it quite expensive as we ended up paying 12euros (about £10) for two SMALL ice-creams! We decided to leave a couple of days early and stay in Genoa for a couple of nights. We stopped of in Pisa to see the leaning tower, which Luke was quite dissapoined with as it was neither as big or as leaning as he had imagined.

Genoa was gorgeous, it's a Harbour town with lots of narrow winding streets. We found a Pirate ship in the Harbour which was open to visitors so we spent a couple of hours pretending to be pirates with Luke trying to work out the best way to comendeer the ship. We steyed in a luxuary 4* hotel that Luke booked, it was a nice change from the campsites and hostels that we are used to.

The weather has been very hot for the whole time we have been in italy with temperatures being around 35 degrees.
