France...

...Apart from the heavy road tolls, it was quite nice.

We were leaving Italy going through Switzerland to get to France when we were stopped by Swiss boarder patrols. They were right ass-holes. It was the first European boarder that there was any guards! and they sucked. Very rude and abrubt. After that we went through Geneva, Which is lovely, we only stayed for an hour or so on our way through. We would both really like to go to Switzerland, but fly there and save the hassle!

We stayed in a little place called Saint-Genis-Pouilly, just over the boarder. It was very quiet. there were 2 shops nearby, 1 was Intermarche and the other was INTERSPORT. Because we were in France i think the air must have been funny because Clare bought some rollerblades! SO now i am a skateboarder with a rollerblading girlfriend! oh well, at least she can film me do skateboarding runs now!!! (that was the real motivation behind buying them!).

So, after 2 nights and loads of rollerblading fun...we ventured down to the coast to Marseille. It was hot! And our hotel was themed like a Boat, well it had stained carpets and water marks, i think they just added the odd life belt and bit of rope here and there! It was ok. We didn't really see much of the town, we spent all our time down the beach and at The BOWLS, (a very famous skateboarding spot) and what we did see we really liked, so possably go back one day? maybe.

Overall France, and a bit of switzerland were nice, but we didnt go to nice. haha

Clare should not let me write these, but we are not making a video of this because it would be just skateboarding and rollerblading! Well, i will make a short clip of Clare learning to rollerblade, but it wont be very funny because she hasn't fallen over....YET!
